Hello, my name is Phillip Riester, and I am a Project Manager just like you. The truth is, I was not always happy in my career. I worked hard, exceeded expectations, checked all the boxes, yet always had the feeling of being held back, wanting more, and frustrated for not being utilized for my full potential.
This left me depressed, frustrated, angry, and unmotivated. And the people that it hurt the most was not just myself, but the ones I love the most… my wife and my kids. Sadly, they got the brunt of the frustration and anger at home with yelling and fighting. That’s not fair and it’s not right.
Now fast-forward 10 yrs., I was working with my coach at the time, and I started to change my thinking and my perception. Before you know it I am breaking out of my shell, excited to wake up, and excited for the day. No more victim mentality. No more lacking confidence.
Now I am a Senior Delivery Leader, within a $5 billion company, with credentials, certifications & 15+ years of experience… and most importantly, I finally realize, we as Project Managers are so much more than just Project Managers! We have the ability to impact more people than nearly any other role within our companies.
What I am most passionate about is serving others. That’s why I’ve created a process called the “The CEO Framework”. After-all, we are the CEO’s of our Life & Business. This framework is my education, experience, certifications, and 15+ years of hard work, all compressed into one approach.
During this discussion, we are going to cover the following framework and examples. The framework is comprised of key components within three (3) specific focus areas that become further refined by category.

About PMICIC Monthly Programs
PMICIC has regular monthly programs on the 3rd Wednesday of each month with the exception of November and December that are on different days. Each program revolves around a central topic integral to successful project management. Topics include both Agile and traditional project management and address at least one of the three domains that make up the PMI Talent Triangle: Technical, Leadership, and Strategic & Business Management. Topics will be posted once we confirm the speaker.
In addition to the presentation, attendees enjoy the opportunity to interact with and network with all levels of Project Professionals from across Indy.
Monthly Programs are open to both PMICIC members and non-members.
