Job Summary That’s Good HR is recruiting for a Cost Analyst for our northeast side client that Money Magazine ranks in the Top 100 companies to work for and Working Mother Magazine ranks them in the Top 10.

This Project Manager is a contract to hire opportunity. This person will be responsible for cost estimating projects, maintaining the standard cost system, activity based costing, providing the analysis of the variances to the budget and establishing cost estimates for new business.

Responsibilities Job Description:
As a Project Manager with an emphasis on cost/economic analysis, the candidate will be challenged to generate work products related to applied economics. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze various projects and initiatives from the total cost of ownership perspective, generate abbreviated business cases, and develop cost estimates as deliverables to clients.

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, a sharp decision maker and able to succeed in a time pressured environment. Candidate must have an understanding of cost and data analysis in order to develop projections to support future resource, budgetary, and workforce transition needs.

Candidate should also be comfortable with development of organizational performance metrics. Candidate must be able to work in a team setting and independently; candidate must be very comfortable with developing client briefings.


 
Qualifications Key Skills
• Cost Analysis (Projects)
o Activity based costing
o Data gathering
o Cost modeling
• Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences of one to twenty people
• Proactively and comprehensively integrate data from across a diverse organization and succinctly communicate findings
• Demonstrate proficiency with standard MS Office suite, with emphasis on MS Excel and MS Project. Familiarity with MS Access is a plus.
• Education / Experience:
•3 - 10 Years experience in Project Management, business analysis and project costing analysis
•BS in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics or related field
•MS or MBA a plus
