About the Profession

51 million is the number of people across the globe engaged in the management of projects, according to PMI’s research in 2013, which has been validated by the Economist Intelligence Unit. That is about the population of South Africa, or South Korea – and it presents a huge opportunity for PMI as we work around the world to continue advancing our shared profession.
