The Program Director of Event Communications is an appointed volunteer leader responsible for ensuring that all chapter events are clearly, consistently, and effectively communicated to members and stakeholders. This role oversees the strategy, planning, and delivery of event-specific communications—from save-the-date announcements through post-event highlights—to maximize awareness, attendance, and member engagement. The Program Director collaborates closely across all chapter teams to create compelling, timely messaging across multiple platforms that aligns with PMI branding and the chapter’s strategic goals.

This role ensures chapter events, outreach activities, and strategic initiatives are optimized through data-driven insights and audience analytics. Marketing Analysts provide the essential performance intelligence required to refine communication strategies and maximize member value in accordance with chapter bylaws, PMI policies, and the chapter annual plan.

Appointed volunteer who identifies, researches, and analyzes partnership opportunities to support an integrated partnership program. This role ensures chapter events, outreach activities, and strategic initiatives are fueled by mission-aligned partnership support. Research volunteers provide the essential business intelligence required to build high-value relationships in accordance with chapter bylaws, PMI policies, and the chapter annual plan.
