Social Good Community Volunteer Day
PMICIC as part of community out reach initiative inviting its members to volunteer with Midwest Food Bank org on 18th Nov 23 from 9 am till 12pm & will be repacking food. For this event we need at least 10 volunteers.
About Midwest All the food that Midwest Food Bank obtains goes out to our 389 agencies in 66 counties throughout the state of Indiana. Most of those agencies are Food Pantries that will then open the doors to our neighbors suffering from food insecurity. We know right not 1 in 5 children in Indiana are food insecure. Last year we distributed $66 million worth of food to Hoosiers. They have 2 warehouse and only employee 6 people. Volunteers makes all this happen.
