About the Presenters
Sallie Lord – Featured Designer, 2025 Decorators’ Show House
Sallie has been an outstanding member of the design community for the last 25+ years as she’s followed her passion for creating and transforming the world around her. After first discovering her passion for design at 15, Sallie gained a BA in Interior Design from Marymount University. In 2009, she founded Greyhunt Interiors (GHI), named after her sons, Greyson and Hunter.
Since the founding of GHI, Sallie has been named a top designer in the DC, Virginia, and Maryland area and made it onto the Best of Virginia and Loudon list multiple years in a row. She has also been named a Hot Talent by Home and Design Magazine. Sallie runs GHI with a sharp eye, compassionate heart, and strong communication skills that have made the company what it is today!
Lisa Booher – General Chair, 2022 & 2024 | Project Leadership in a Post-COVID Era
As a seasoned leader in the Decorators’ Show House project, Lisa Booher has served as General Chair in 2022 and Co-Chair in 2024, guiding the event’s execution in a post-COVID landscape. In her role, she operates as the lead project manager, overseeing the work of all committees and ensuring the successful delivery of the event.
Her responsibilities encompass:
- Risk & Safety Management – Ensuring guest and volunteer safety during both the home’s transformation and the public showcase.
- Stakeholder Coordination – Managing designers, landscapers, and artists while keeping all contributors aligned on timelines and deliverables.
- Sponsorship & Marketing Oversight – Leading corporate sponsorship efforts, in-kind partnerships, and marketing execution, including print materials and signage across former Show House locations.
- Technology & Security – Overseeing all digital resources and IT security to safeguard event data and operations.
