ProDev Day 2025 is the premier annual conference hosted by the Project Management Institute Central Indiana Chapter (PMICIC), bringing together a dynamic community of project professionals, thought leaders, and industry innovators from across the state. Held on Wednesday, August 6 at High Alpha in Indianapolis (as well as virtually), this one-day event offers an immersive experience focused on elevating project success through strategic insights, practical tools, and peer connection. From Evansville to Lafayette, attendees represent a broad cross-section of industries and regions, united by a shared commitment to delivering impactful results. With engaging sessions, high-profile speakers, and invaluable networking, ProDevDay 2025 is where project success starts.

BRETT HARNED
Keynote Speaker
Brett Harned is a recognized leader in digital project management. As a consultant, coach, and community builder, he helps creative and digital teams solve complex challenges around people, process, and culture. With over 20 years of experience—and a client list that includes Zappos, MTV, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Harvard—Brett brings a strategic, human-centered approach to improving how teams deliver and collaborate.
He’s the founder of the original Digital PM Summit and has been writing about project management at BrettHarned.com since 2009. His book, Project Management for Humans, and his work with Same Team continue to shape how PMs and creative leaders work smarter—together.

GERRY DICK
Gerry Dick serves as president of Inside INdiana Business, a division of IBJ Media Corp.
Mr. Dick created Inside INdiana Business television in 1998 and two years later, along with technology entrepreneur Scott Jones, formed Grow INdiana Media Ventures, an Indianapolis-based multi-media company focused on producing and distributing business news and information. Mr. Dick sold the company to IBJ Media in 2021.

Gerry has been awarded the state’s top honor, the Sagamore of the Wabash, three times, by Governors Kernan, Daniels and Pence. He has been awarded Ernst and Young’s prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year Award and has been recognized by the Small Business Administration as its Journalist of the Year.
Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick has received six Emmy awards for best interview/discussion program.
Gerry is a frequent keynote speaker and moderator on issues related to Indiana business and the state’s economy. He also serves as the business news analyst for CBS4 and Fox59 television and 93.1 WIBC radio in Indianapolis.

SUSAN VAUGHN
Susan, a seasoned professional with over three decades of consulting and training experience, embarked on her journey specializing in project management within the consulting realm. After dedicating a decade to Crowe she transitioned in 2000 to a new chapter, founding her Project Management Consulting and Training company, fueled by her passion for project management.
Susan’s latest passion is directing her focus towards project management offices, training, and mentorship – a trifecta that encapsulates her profound passion. She collaborates closely with clients, tailoring programs to their specific needs, and meets them at their unique points in the project management maturity spectrum.
She an instructor for Purdue University’s Project Management Essentials course which she played a pivotal role in the development of this course over a decade ago. Additionally, she is an Authorized Training Partner Instructor with the Project Management Institute (PMI).
For over two decades, Susan has been a prominent leader in the Indianapolis STEM community, contributing significantly as a board member of Women & Hi Tech.
Susan's educational background includes a BS in Business with a specialization in computer information systems, earned from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

RACHEL IRELAN
Rachel Irelan, MBA, PMP, currently serves as the Director of Project Management at audiochuck since November 2023, overseeing project management initiatives. Prior to this role, Rachel worked at Axia Technology Partners as a Project Portfolio Manager, where responsibilities included managing a diverse portfolio of projects, leading a work management transition to Microsoft Azure DevOps, and guiding a team of five in project management and quality assurance. Rachel's experience also encompasses project management positions at Inverse-Square and Deloitte, where notable achievements included managing complex integration projects and identifying process improvements. Rachel holds a Master of Business Administration from Butler University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Ball State University.

KATIE BUCHHOLZ
Katie Buchholz, MBA, PMP, is the North America Regional Project Manager at the Project Management Institute (PMI), a role she has held for nearly 1.5 years. In this capacity, Katie skillfully navigates operational projects across the North American region, while also lending crucial regional support to larger global initiatives, including the implementation of PMI's New Membership Model and the development of an operational framework for Chapters with Branches. Before joining PMI, Katie dedicated 8.5 years to Sanford Health, a system with over 40,000 employees. For three of those years, she served as a Project Manager, successfully overseeing diverse projects such as improving Foundation fund usage, managing the acceptance of a $3.4 million grant, and reducing colonoscopy wait times by over 2 months. At PMI, Katie is proud to bring her experience to directly support the vital work of PMI chapters, empowering local communities, and contributing to the global elevation of the project management profession.
