The PMICIC Board of Directors are responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction of the Chapter. The board is ultimately accountable for the strategic direction of the chapter. The Board of Directors are volunteers elected from the membership of the chapter and are the voting officers of the chapter.

Kelly Sandstrom, PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-PMOCP, PMO-BP, A-CSM, Project+
President
Kelly Sandstrom has nearly twenty years of experience in project management, IT and operations in the public and private sectors. She graduated from Indiana University Bloomington Kelley School of Business with a Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Process Management and Operations Management; and a minor in Math. Kelly currently holds the Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Project Management Office Certified Practitioner (PMI-PMOCP) certifications as well as the Project Management Office Businss Practitioner (PMO-BP), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), and the CompTIA Project+. Kelly is the Division Director of Project Management at the State of Indiana Office of Technology.

Rosann Bateman, PMP
Vice President of Finance
Rosann Bateman is a native of Austin, Texas, then moved to Utah for 7 years. She volunteered for 8 years with the PMI Austin Board in various roles and for the PMI Northern Utah Board for 6.5 years (four and a half years of which she was President). She is currently VP of Finance for the PMI Central Indiana Chapter. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Concordia University Austin in 1999 and received her PMP in August 2005. Rosann volunteers with Love Chapel in Columbus, Indiana on a weekly basis and recently joined the United Way to give back to her community. Rosann and her two dogs moved to Columbus, Indiana in September 2023. Shortly after arriving in Indiana, she began volunteering with the PMI Central Indiana Chapter. Rosann was previously a construction project manager for a quasi-governmental organization for 10 years in Austin, responsible for constructing two 30,000 sq. ft. office buildings with transmission facility garages for large trucks and lay-down yards. Additionally, she was responsible for constructing an emergency river operations control center, replacing a dozen commercial roofs, remodeling a few building interiors and directing the redesign and relocating 1,300 employees in 3 office buildings to comply with ADA standards. She is now happily retired. In her spare time, she enjoys being with family and friends, taking exercise classes, line dancing, hiking, camping, traveling, walking her dogs, volunteering and crafting.

Adrienne Roman, PhD, PMP
Vice President of Operations
Adrienne Roman is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with almost 10 years of experience in project and program management within a global biotechnology research company and a nationally-ranked medical center. Holding a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology, she excels in collaborating cross-functionally with teams in clinical science, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, and senior executive leadership. Dr. Roman has successfully driven the end-to-end completion of multidisciplinary programs across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. She is skilled in initiating communication with geographically dispersed stakeholders to define project requirements, adapt to changing needs, lead phase gate reviews, develop processes, and implement control standards.

Jason “JD” Duigou, CHCIO, MBA
Vice President of Member Engagement
Jason Duigou specializes in digital transformation and IT strategy, bringing more than 25 years of experience across industries including manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and facilities management. He has led high-impact initiatives such as cloud-based strategies, ERP implementations, and data governance programs, consistently improving user experience, driving innovation, and delivering measurable business value. Jason is particularly passionate about leveraging emerging technologies, including generative AI, to automate processes and support organizational growth. A strong advocate for structured project management, he believes clear communication, stakeholder alignment, and disciplined delivery are key to turning complex challenges into predictable success. Outside of work, Jason enjoys riding motorcycles and dirt bikes, creating mixed-media art, and spending time with his family. He is excited to support a welcoming, connected, and thriving PMI Central Indiana community that engages and supports members at every stage of their careers.

Carol Baker, PMP
Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Marketing
Carol Baker serves as the Academic Systems Administrator at Butler University, where she oversees and optimizes critical academic platforms supporting student success management, faculty activity reporting, and course evaluation systems. With strong expertise in system optimization and stakeholder management, Carol plays a key role in ensuring these tools effectively support institutional goals and user needs.
A passionate advocate for the project management profession, Carol proudly serves on the Board of Directors for the Project Management Institute (PMI) Central Indiana Chapter as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Marketing. In this role, she focuses on strengthening the chapter’s visibility, building strategic relationships, and fostering engagement across the local project management community.
Carol holds a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University Indianapolis’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs and a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Louisville. After successfully transitioning from a distinguished career in arts administration, she now applies her unique blend of creative problem-solving and disciplined project management practices to drive operational excellence in higher education.
